LED Tail Light Bucket Installation Instructions
Caution: Do not look straight at the lit LED's without the lenses in place. Do not touch the actual LED's. They are unprotected until you install the lenses.
1. Remove Old Tail Lights: Open the deck lid and remove the cargo liner (if you have one) to gain access to the tail light mounting nuts. While holding a tail light assembly, remove the two nuts, and pull away the tail light assembly enough to have access to the tail light wire harness. Unplug the wiring harness making sure not to drop the tail light assembly. If you're using your lenses on the new buckets, remove them from the old buckets now.
2. Install Lenses: Install the lenses with the provided allen head screws. You'll need a 3/32 standard allen head wrench. These are standard, not metric, so the fit through the lenses is tight. You'll need to screw the Allen head screws through the lens and into the bucket. Take a look at the photos below. You can look through the side of the lens and see the studs that come together with the screws (one stud on the lens, and one stud on the bucket). Tighten the screws until the gap, which shows up as a dark line between the studs, is closed.

3. Check Tail Light Fitment: Put the new tail lights into rear of the car. Loosely secure with the provided 1/4" bolts. You want the bolts loose so that you can move around the tail light assembly. Make sure that you're happy with the mounting position of the new tail lights. You may need to elongate the mounting holes with a dremel or file to get perfect fitment.

4. Connect Wire Harness: Connect blue to blue, yellow to yellow, red to red, and connect the paired black wire and white wire to white.

5. Mount Tail Lights: Hold the tail light assembly in place, then secure with the included 1/4" bolts, washers and factory ground wire, being careful not to over tighten (if the mounting holes needed to be elongated, you may need to omit the washers.) You want to compress the rubber gasket, but not flex the base of the tail light assembly.
